This will confirm that the English Language Centre, University of Victoria, has accepted the above applicant for an intensive course of English language study consisting of 22 hours per week for the September 10 - December 5, 2007 ELPI session. Placement testing for new students is scheduled on the first day of the program.
The fee for this session is $3,350.00 plus a $150.00 application fee, all of which includes tuition, a placement test and student card. The fee does not include textbooks, transportation costs, medical and dental costs, meals, accommodation or other living expenses.
We are in receipt of the application fee and deposit totalling $500.00. The balance, in Canadian funds, is due five weeks prior to the beginning of the session.
The English Language Centre's refund policy is as follows:
The application fee and deposit(s) are non-refundable. The deposit will be refunded only if the student is unable to obtain a student visa and provides our office with a copy of the embassy letter before the start date of the program or if the course is cancelled. Fees are not refundable once the Program has begun.
After students successfully complete the University Admission Preparation Course (UAPC), our highest-level course, they will be in a position to take the TOEFL test and should meet the University’s English Language requirement. Students may be granted acceptance into the Master of Business Administration program once they have met all the academic admission requirements of the University and of the specific department to which they are applying.
