1. 2+2 Joint Bachelors Degree Program in Business administration Between Jiangxi University of Science and Technology and  University of Prince Edward Island 

I. ABOUT UPEI

Located on 140 acres in Charlottetown, the birthplace of Confederation, the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI) has a rich history with roots in two founding institutions, Prince of Wales College (est. 1834) and St. Dunstan's University (est. 1855). UPEI honors this proud legacy through a growing reputation for research innovation and academic excellence. According to Maclean’s annual survey LU is the top 8 in overall rankings –primarily undergraduate university. UPEI's five faculties (arts, business, education, science, and veterinary medicine) and three schools (nursing, sustainable design engineering, and mathematical and computational sciences) offer a wide range of programs and degrees to approximately 4,400 undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students. In 2016, international students from close to 70 countries comprise almost 21 per cent of the University's total enrollment.


 II. Why UPEI

(1)One of the major advantages of making the decision to study in Canada is that graduates could get access to a Post-Graduation Work Permit on completion of their studies in Canada. Post-Graduation Work Permits allow certain individuals who have studied in Canada to stay and work under an open work permit for up to three years, allowing them to enter the Canadian workforce and gain valuable Canadian work experience that may help them to immigrate permanently.


(2)International students with a valid study permit can work-off campus while studying in UPEI.

(3)UPEI's undergraduate tuition is the second-lowest in the Atlantic region, and they offer more than $5 million in scholarships and awards.

(4)If you graduated with GPA 75 above, you could apply for the post-graduate program in UPEI or any other universities in Canada or The USA.

III. International Bridging Program

(1)“2+2” Joint Degree: The students should complete their first two years’ academic study with proficient English at Jiangxi University of Science and Technology (Short for JXUST below), then transfer all the credits they have already gained to UPEI and finally complete the remaining two years’ study at UPEI. After completing all requirements for both programs successfully, the student will be awarded the bachelor’s degrees from both sides.

(2)Post-graduate program: The students should complete their undergraduate program at JXUST with proficient English test such as IELTS 6.5, and then enroll in the post-graduate program in UPEI. After completing all the requirements in UPEI, the student will be awarded the master’s degree from UPEI.

IV. Requirement

(1)Applicants must currently study at academic year two at JXUST.

(2)Major: Economy, Business Administration, Computer Science, Biology, Physics, and any other sustainable development related majors.

(3)English Proficiency requirement: IELTS 6.5 or Internet-based TOFEL 80 (If applicants can’t meet this requirement, then applicants need to complete  the EAP courses first before taking the undergraduate program at UPEI.).

V. Fees (For reference only)

Tuition Fees: about 14000 Canadian Dollars/ per year;

Living Expenses: about 10000 Canadian Dollars/ per year.

2. 2+2 Joint Bachelors Degree Program in Computer Science/Mining Engineering between Jiangxi University of Science and Technology and Laurentian University

I. About Laurentian University (LU):

The university's campus is located on the south side of Lake Ramsey, just south of Greater Sudbury's downtown core in the Bell Grove neighborhood, near some of the city's wealthiest residential neighborhoods. Sudbury city is about 380 miles away from Toronto City. The city's Idylwylde golf course also borders on the university campus. According to Maclean’s annual survey LU is the top 10 in overall rankings –primarily undergraduate university. LU is one of the two universities in Ontario Province who providing Bilingual Education in English and French. The Post-graduation employment rate is about 95% after two years, and 91.7% after six months.


 II. Why LU:

III. Partnership

(1)“2+2” Joint Degree: The students should complete their first two academic years with proficient English in JXUST, then transfer all the credits they have already gained to LU and finally complete the remaining two years’ study at LU. After completing all requirements for both programs successfully, the student will be awarded the bachelor’s degrees from both sides;

(2)Post-graduate program: The students should complete their undergraduate program in JXUST with proficient English test such as IELTS 6.5. Then enroll to the post-graduate program at LU. After completing all requirements at LU, the students will be awarded the master’s degree from LU.

IV. Requirement

(1)Applicants must currently study at academic year two at JXUST;

(2)Major: Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, Computer Science, Environmental Science, Health Care, and any other related majors;

(3)English Proficiency requirement: IELTS 6.5 or Internet-based TOFEL 80  (If applicants can’t meet this requirement, then applicants need to complete  the EAP courses first before taking the undergraduate program at LU.).

V. Fees (For reference only)

Tuition Fees:

For majority of the majors: around 20,377.50 Canadian Dollars/ per year;

Engineering related majors: around 24,262.92 Canadian Dollars/ per year;

EAP course: around 375 Canadian Dollars/ per term.

Living Expenses: around 12000 Canadian Dollars/ per year.
